Have you ever marveled at how your toddler is absorbing information and learning almost effortlessly? Have you wondered why your toddler has such a strong desire for order as their entire morning can be upended by not having their favorite orange spoon for their breakfast? Have you ever struggled with wanting to get out the door but your toddler has decided that this is the day that they will be putting on their own shoes even if unsuccessful for over 10 minutes? These are all the complex and wonderful elements of toddlers as they enter the sensitive period for order, concentration, and craving independence.
This spring, we will be offering a session of Parent-Child toddler classes for an intimate group of just 5 families. The session will be 5 classes long preceded by an info-session to better understand how the Montessori approach can help you set up your environment to help your toddler build more independence and develop more order and concentration. Our sessions will be led by a Montessori-trained guide who will prepare the classroom environment in the areas of practical life, language, arts + craft, eye-hand coordination, and music + movement.
Our Parent + Child "Montessori Mornings" classes will run the following dates from 9:30 - 10:45am Toddlers: Ages 18 mos to 30 mos old
